A Wedding in the Redwoods
You know you are doing something special when you get to be a part of their most important day. When Jaime and Andrew asked us to cater their wedding celebration, we were completely honored. You might call Jaime and Andrew ‘event people.’ They both work in this dynamic world of producing parties, managing events, and creating moments. They both know what they want and deserve the best. So, when we were selected to create their menu, assist in the design of their dining experience, and take care of their family and friends, we jumped at the opportunity. They asked us to create a menu that would center around Jaime’s family tradition of Sunday Italian suppers with nods to Andrews love of big bold flavors. The result was something that was relaxed, refined and of course fun. The tabletops were designed around the venues canopy of redwoods nestled into the hills. Long rows of dark farm tables with accents of hammered metals helped to frame the dining experience. Ingredients from local farmers and artisan purveyors loaded the menu. And of course, the cap off the night, our filled-to-order cannoli table was highlighted by their love of music as sweet bites spun on vintage record players.
